    Where do I begin? I had a service technician come out to my house on 12/8 to take a look at a stackable washer/dryer. I was quoted $650.00 for parts/repair and thought, "What choice do I have?" so we scheduled service for the following week, 12/14. I ended up cancelling my appointment the next day, 12/9, after finding a refurbished model at a competitors store for $900.00. Figured I would rather have an entire unit under warranty than just a few new parts in an older machine. No-brainer, right? Well, I ended up being charged the $650.00 anyway, even though I cancelled the appointment and no service was ever performed. Sears told me I would not get a refund until their parts were returned. Okay...so we scheduled to have the parts picked up a few weeks ago. I have checked the tracking numbers and confirmed they were received by Sears weeks ago and am still waiting on my refund. I have called numerous times and no one can tell me where my money is or when I will get it back. Furthermore, every time I call I speak with someone different and have to RE-explain the same situation over and over to someone on the other side of the world that I can barely understand . I keep being told "You will get a call with an update in 24-48 hours." I have been getting told this for a while now. If I had a dollar for every time someone ingenuinely told me "I'm sorry for your trouble"... I don't want apologies. I want a SOLUTION! The thing that frustrates me most is, what kind of company charges you for a service prior to it being completed in the first place? I don't call Tuffy to have my muffler fixed and get charged for parts and labor before I ever bring my car in, let alone if I cancel the appointment. It's been 2-months now and I'm still going back and forth with them and waiting on my refund. What's more, that balance was put on my credit card so it continues to incur interest the longer it sits there. How fun!

    Trip to the Auto Center for tires was great. Very friendly staff and fast service. Had a 1pm appt and showed up @12:30 and they had me in by 12:45 and done by 1:45, all on a Friday afternoon(appointment was made same morning).

    Trevor in appliances was fantastic. I feel like sales associates these days have rudimentary knowledge and I'm used to doing tons of research on my own. This Sears associate knew the ins and outs of the appliances! Further, he gave us his contact info and promptly updated us on progress when we had a question. Great experience!
